The Fenestration News Bulletin this week will be sent to more than 14,000 recipients in just over 9,000 organisations aligned to the Window Industry. Making it an effective delivery platform to get your Companies message across.

HEGLA Bystronic Partnership: “ A glass processor could need to use many specialist glasses for a variety of customer’s projects. Typical Rapidstore configurations have 20-30 or more glass types in a limited area. The Rapidstore eliminates the need to stop production to search for the right glass type for a particular project, less manual moving of glass means less damage. It keeps the cycle times running rather than shifts having to be stopped to select the right glass from separate storage areas.” Steve Goble comments.

Pilkington: “ As a business with almost 200 years of heritage in St Helens, it’s very appropriate that this significant new store for the town features our glass. This storefront is another great example of how Pilkington Planar™ allows maximised sight-lines for prospective shoppers while letting natural light deep into building interiors.” said Gary Stonelake, business development manager for Pilkington Planar™

Barbour ABI: The value of all construction contract awards in June 2019 was £5.2 billion based on a three-month rolling average, which is an increase of 5.5% on May. Regional analysis shows that the North West was the leading region for contract awards in June with a 36.6% value share.

Fenster Fabrications: “ When I order a product, I need to know exactly when it is going to be delivered - and this is one of the main reasons I like to use Fenster Fabrications.” explains Philip Annear, founder of Philip Annear Windows

CENSolution: “ With our previous certification supplier, it was almost as easy as handing over the annual fee, but CENSolutions make us work a lot harder! The payoff to us for doing the extra work though is a more efficient factory and even better products Ian Short, Managing Director of Morley Glass

CDW Systems “ With such a tight brief from Gloucestershire County Council and clear aims to improve the sustainability and performance of Shire Hall, we liaised with our longstanding supply partner CDW Systems to find the optimal curtain walling solution .” comments Chris Beacham, Director of Alfram

Everglade Windows: “ That’s why we’ve launched our new uPVC range that includes OC-Ovolo, OC-Chamfered and OC-Flush windows and doors, along with the OC-Patio doors, in an industry leading 26 colourways from stock, and even more options available to order.” says: Sales & Marketing Director, Jay Patel.

Epwin Window Systems: Stellar is available in a range of gloss levels, giving customers an outstanding choice. In addition to stocked colours, customers can choose any RAL colour or dual colour combination.

Letter to editor - suited heritage products Chris Jones

Dear Ian

Over the last five years the timber-alternative heritage look has captured the imagination of homeowners.

It’s been such a hit that many fabricators and installers who originally saw flush casements as an attractive and interesting niche product, now see them becoming the dominant casement window style over the next five years, with traditional storm casements confined to a fifth or a quarter of their output. This trend has been reinforced with the launch of suited heritage flush doors.

Originally the timber-alternative flush look was seen as a more appropriate style for older, period, heritage properties where modern storm casements looked out of place. And they have been accepted as ideal, which is why Deceuninck named ours the Heritage Flush Window. But homeowners, particularly older homeowners – the ‘Haves’ – fell for them in a big way. They love them, and they love the heritage colours they come in!...more

Yours sincerely

Chris Jones - Sales Director, Deceuninck
