Groundbreaking W20TE system accounts for almost a third of consumer sales

Iconic steel window and door manufacturer Crittall Windows has announced that its groundbreaking W20 TE system now represents almost a third of all consumer orders.

This marks a significant shift in homeowner demand towards higher performing steel glazing that comes with a much admired and sought-after brand name.

The growth of W20 TE reflects a trend towards steel windows and doors that retain slender profiles associated with traditional Crittall designs, while meeting modern expectations for thermal efficiency and weather performance.

Timberlook passes major milestone: over 128,000 frames manufactured

Timberlook, the heritage-style uPVC window and door brand from Affordable Windows Group, has announced a significant manufacturing milestone. The leading manufacturer has produced over 128,000 frames since launching Timberlook in 2017, using more than 320,000 metres of uPVC profile in the process.

To put that figure into perspective, 320,231 metres of profile is just shy of the distance between London and Paris (approximately 344,000 metres). This milestone comes alongside a period of significant investment in the Timberlook range from Affordable Windows Group.
